Persons who have never had a colon hydrotherapy treatment may be fearful or embarrassed to receive one. This is because they don't know what to expect.Human Colon
The usual session lasts about 45 minutes. All rectal speculums are disposable. After the gentle insertion of the speculum into the rectum, it is attached to a plastic hose which connects to our modern equipment. The therapist then adjusts the flow and temperature of the water coming out of the machine. The water travels through the plastic hose into the rectum and potentially though the entire colon. The client temporarily receives a regulated volume of water to their individual tolerance. Our system has a filter for the water, and we use warm and cold water in a pressure and release method to induce peristaltic action in the colon. While lying comfortably on the table, they will begin to expel fecal matter through the plastic hose which leads back into the Colon Hydrotherapy machine. All tubes are disposed of after each client.
During the session, you are covered. You might see mucus, gas, worms, undigested foods and very old fecal matter that has broken loose from the colon wall, passing through the clear glass viewing tube. This old matter has been lying in the colon for years, and is dark and hard. Since this is a closed system there is no odor or mess. In fact, it is a very relaxing experience. We also massage the abdomen to help loosen fecal matter and to promote peristalsis.
Most Clients need more than on session. It is most common to expel considerable gas during the first few times. It usually takes six to ten sessions before old fecal matter dislodges.
As old, unhealthy matter leaves the colon, the opportunity for the growth of important friendly bacteria increases. We often suggest that the client use a supplement of friendly flora in conjunction with the treatment series.
Colon Hydrotherapy is essential to establishing balance in our bodies for improved health.
